• 2-3 Reindeer sausages
  • 250g lentils (green or red)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 3 dl vegetable stock (or 50/50 stock/red wine)
  • Salt & pepper

This is a great recipe after a long day outdoors when the evening is a little chilly and you want something to warm you up.

Fry the sausages in your skillet with olive oil until they are browned, then remove the sausages and keep them in your Primus insulation bag. Cook the garlic, onion and peppers in your skillet until softened and add the lentils and sausages together with the stock. Bring up to the boil and let it simmer until lentils have softened and the sausages are cooked. Served with crusty bread.
Tip: Slice the sausages to make them easier to cook through.
